  • May weekend at IFF

    During the long May weekend, the IFF gallery and reading room will be open during regular hours (Friday 14:00–19:00, Saturday–Sunday 12:00–19:00). We invite you to visit the exhibitions Family Trilogy by Christopher Anderson and Marion Durand, and Life on Assignment by Kuba Dąbrowski.

  • Coffee Plant partners with IFF

    We’re excited to share that Coffee Plant – one of Poland’s fastest-growing specialty coffee roasters – has officially teamed up with IFF. Together with Coffee Plant, we’ll be serving you a selection of pour-over coffees in the café area of our new venue.

  • IFF receives funding through KPO

    We are pleased to announce that we have received funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO), financed by the European Union through the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU, for the implementation of the project: “Digital Photography Center Fort: Digital Transformation of the Resources and Offer of the Fort Institute of Photography”.

  • New opening of IFF

    At the end of the year, we closed IFF’s current location. In spring 2026, we look forward to welcoming you to our new space, also within Fort Mokotów. In the meantime, we are busy preparing the gallery and reading room programme. We hope to see you soon!

  • Reading room – renovation

    The reading room will remain closed until spring 2026. If you need access to any book in the meantime, please contact us at biuro@fiff.org.pl. The online catalogue is available at all times here.

Over 2,500 photography publications are available for viewing at IFF. It is the only place of its kind in Poland – open to anyone with an interest in photography and offering free access to a vast selection of albums, photobooks, and theoretical works.

CAFÉ AND RESTAURANTS

Our space also includes a café area – during exhibitions or a visit to the reading room, you can stop for a coffee from Coffee Plant, a slice of cake, or a small snack.

Outside of IFF, Fort Mokotów offers welcoming spaces to meet, eat, and unwind.

Schodki is an open-air restaurant set on the green cascades of Fort Mokotów. Open from May to October, they serve delicious pizza in a relaxed, outdoor atmosphere.

Gardens by Fort is a year-round restaurant serving excellent cuisine. The menu features seasonal dishes – perfect for late brunches or evening gatherings over a glass of wine.
