We invite you to a meeting with the artist behind the light installations you so often ask about when visiting our new space. Paweł Błęcki will talk about the works already on display at IFF, as well as his latest work, created specifically for the Institute. This will be its first presentation.

Most of his works are the result of a long-standing fascination with objects and reflection on our relationships with them. The artist draws on the sociology of objects, while his works challenge an anthropocentric perspective on the world and invite us to acknowledge the active role objects play in the networks of relationships in which we exist together.

So far, three of Błęcki’s works have been on view at the Fort Institute of Photography: Work on oneself is the only sure job in life (2024), Flower (2025), and Eye (2025). On the day of the event, we will see the artist’s latest work.
